Bleu et Rouge Band Sampler - this was the 2025 SAL which has now finished so the chart is released for general sale. It is stitched one over one of 28ct linen banding (100mm wide although this design will work on 80mm and 90mm wide banding too). It is stitched with AVAS Soie d'alger 1714(DMC 931 and Avas Soie d'alger 2925 (DMC 815). It can also be stitched over two threads on 170mm wide banding. The stitch count is 73 x 989

 Sew Advent 2024 - this was the SAL for Advent 2024 and the chart is now available to purchase here. This design is a set of Christmas 'stamps' and is stitched one over one on 32ct spruce blue Belfast linen. It can be stitched over two if you wish. The threads are AVAS B4096 (white), AVAS 945 (red) and AVAS 226 (green) and DMC equivalents are given on the chart.

First Christmas - this was designed for my twin great grandchildren, Connie and Henry. It is stitched 1*2 on 40ct white Newcastle linen with DMC threads. The stitch count is 41 x 60. Full upper case and lower case alphabets included for personalisation

The above picture shows the materials needed for the Sew Advent 2021 SAL as supplied by Steekjes & Kruisjes  *here* Although you will find this site is in Dutch (soon to be in English too) it is easy enough to order by emailing them. 

Registration is now open for this SAL which runs from December 1 to 24. Each day you will receive a small bite size chart to stitch and, if you keep up, you will  have a finished piece in time for Christmas. It is stitched one over one on 50mm wide banding (28ct) although, if you prefer you can stitch over two on a wider (100mm) banding. There is a Facebook group for iStitch Designs *here* where progress will be posted. The silk threads used are by Au Ver a Soie but DMC colours can be used. Spools to fit the banding are also available.
