Sew Grande
First came Sew Petite and now we have Sew Grande which is stitched 1*2 in Needlepoint Inc 505 silk thread on 40ct Newcastle linen dyed with walnut ink crystals. 
It has been custom designed to fit a Medium Hornbook (Folk art hand painted) by Kelmscott Designs which are available *here* or from most good needlework stores. 

The sampler was edged with double-wrapped nun stitch with DMC 80 Dentelles and then cut to size.

Please note this chart is listed for sale is GB Pounds instead of US$ as Paypal not only charge me to receive your payment but they charge again for me to change it to Pounds!

Sew Petite


Sew Petite released on March 30. This tiny sampler is stitched 1*2 in both monochrome in red AVAS silk thread on 40ct antique white Newcastle linen and and a colour version in HDF silk threads on 40ct white Newcastle linen 

This petite sampler is custom designed to fit an Image Stitchery Designs 2½" x 2" hornbook. These hornbooks are available from Attic Needlework of Mesa, Arizona and other good needlework stores

Sew a Quaker Pinwheel


Sew a Quaker Pinwheel released on February 27. A Quaker inspired pinwheel stitched 1*2 on 40ct raw Newcastle linen with Au Ver a Soie silk threads in White, Green, Red and Blue. A complete alphabet, together with a blank, is supplied. The stitch count for each letter is 27 x 27.

Sew Valentine and Sew Irish

Two new iStitch Designs released today! Both of these charts will be available, along with others, at the Nashville Trade Show in early March but if you cannot wait for them to be in your LNS they are available here as pdf files.

Sew Gigi

Sew Gigi released on December 9. It is stitched on 40ct Antique White Newcastle linen with an HDF silk thread called 'Gigi's Christmas' hence the name of the design. There is no DMC equivalent but this design can be stitched in any variegated or solid colour thread.

Sew Wed


Sew Wed was stitched for my friends' son and his lovely young lady for their wedding on 11.11.11 and I have been asked to release this for sale. It is stitched on white 40ct Newcastle linen with AVAS 2925. Although the names of Justin and Patty are shown in the picture there are blank squares on the chart for your own personalisation using initials from the alphabet.

Sew a Mystery

Sew a Mystery was designed with a SAL in mind and represents a tiny printers tray but with stitched divisions instead of wood. It is stitched on 40ct antique white Newcastle linen with an HDF combo silk thread 2219/2161/2307. There are many beautiful versions of this design shown on many blogs so it's worth looking around to see if there is a version you particularly like. Check out the slideshows on my blog *here*




The model was finished as a box top on a Hobby Lobby card box with a blue silk lining and a stitched pin pillow, the pattern for which is included with the Sew a Mystery chart. A finishing tutorial can be found on my blog *here* - just click on the TUTORIALS button on the sidebar.
